November Work Days

morning all...

Well, its been pretty chilly the last few days. I dread the cold of winter coming. My body is not ready for this change. The horses are starting to get winter coats growing in, except for Stubby. His prior owner said that he had a hard time with that. He gets a blanket on when its going to be chilly out. Nothing like a green covered gray blind horse nose extended sniffing you out.

I'm looking forward to the November Work Days. I wish so many more of you were able to make it. We have all become a family here. Close, loving, and miss each other when gone. I hope that we can get as many things done here to prepare for winter as possible. I wish I could convey to people how grateful I am for all the help. Not just those days, but every day. When things get done here for winter it makes it easier on me to do the daily chores here with the horses. There are days when I don't have help. The little things help me get in from the cold sooner. Helps me spend more time on other things with them as well as in the office.

I hope that you can make it for the event... Please let us know if you can.

I am interested in a work day. Will you be having one for the month of December? Do you have more than one location or is Oklahoma the only one? I live in Texas but have friends in OK. I'm 11 yrs old, I love horses and want to someday be a Veterinarian and work on big animals, like horses. Please respond when you can.
