Watermelon Women (and men)
Talk about weird.. I got up this am and the whole Watermelon Women thing was under a different entry and the posts were there too. So, spent some time on phone with a tech and got this all straight I hope..

I can see a few of them rolling them like basketballs all over the place trying to get to the inside..

Watermelon people
I have done some math on the watermelon feast.
We have figured 16 watermelons x $4 = $64. We have also talked bout 4 rounds of antibiotics x $14 = $56 for Jack's aftercare.
The total = $120
I have down that Kelly, Nancy, Lynn, Maggie, me, Marsh and Kathy wanted to help with this. Marsh and Kathy have sent in $10 each. That leaves $100 for fund this.
Shall the five of us left divide it up equally and each send in $20?

We are working on it. I have to wait till Theresa gets home and see how its done. Have to link up something or other.
If you have pics until we can figure out how to let you do it yourself without compromising the security of the site--this it to keep the anonymous people from coming in and saying rude nasty thing.

Well I guess I can get the watermelons next week and allow Jack a few days to recover from surgery. It could be done the clinic weekend as the girls will be here and some others. This way they can help me with not only carrying them but to cut them up.
Does anyone have an issue with waiting till then.

Do whatever is best. We thought that the watermelon feast with kids present would make for some great photo opportunities and Nancy could use them in her brochures.

Since I have found a pair of mud boots that are actually my size, I have the first pair that I bought at Atwoods that are a size 7. I'll be glad to donate them for the kids this winter if you think someone can use them. Also can come up with more wool socks like I gave the girls.

I'll be glad to pick up some school type supplies for the kids. You can have your own Horse Feathers classroom. Walgrreen's always has a lot of back to school supplies really cheap at this time of year. Will see what I can gather up for you.
